ODOP: twofer triads

only one face in sight,
the clock–
and that’s not a friendly one

Icefalls in the mountains sound like whips,
but we don’t flinch:
In our leafless forests, naked love.

This is an intriguing poem. I keep rereading it trying to figure it out. To me, it seems to be about running out of time to stop global warming and such.

    • I didn’t mean for them to be read together as one poem, but it’s interesting that when you did it came out the way it did and merged with the poetic logic of global warming (also totally unintended on my part).
